I have to yet to discover the identity of the mastermind behind "Yer," but I do have the scoop on the latest dance craze known as the "Rack Daddy." My brother made sure I turned on the radio so I wouldn't be out of the loop the next time I hit the club. The artist behind "Rack Daddy" is known other than Fat Pimp. Yeah, I never heard of him either, but he's obviously a clever one with a name like Fat Pimp.
When I heard the lines, "Throw your shoulders out...dip" I couldn't picture the dance in my head. It sounded like something that could cause pain with one false move. But don't worry, folks: YouTube has saved the day.
This is the first video I came across. I assumed this was the dance until user kycook1 posted, "not really but she tried." Apparently she was trying to be too cute with it. Yeah, I don't have time for that either.
Thank God for the kids. The dude towards the end is more concerned about showing us his six pack, shouting out, "Luk at nem abs, bwoy," but I'm more drawn to Albert serving those boys in his white tee. Even our larger than life friends can do the Dallas boogie. We shall overcome.
Now that I have shared this wealth of knowledge and instructional video with you, go forth and do the rack daddy.
